Alan Azizollahoff is shrewd businessman with more than 25 years of experience in the gaming industry. Hailing originally from Durban in South Africa; Miami, Florida is home today to Alan, his Peruvian-born wife and their four children.

Azizollahoff was born in 1959 in Durban, we he spent his childhood and matriculated from Carmel College, a Jewish day school in the city. He earned his BA degree from the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design in Jerusalem, Israel, majoring in Industrial design. Following his marriage to Oriana, Azizollahoff moved to Peru, where he started out on his career in the gaming industry. His first investment in this industry was in 1985 in the Peruvian-based company Inversiones San Juan, owners of the Bingo Camino Real, one of the country’s major bingo halls. He later became a majority shareholder of Inversiones Hobby SAC, a company focusing on the market of electronic casinos in Peru. Azizollahoff also served as CEO of this company, which flourished under his leadership and became a leader in its field. Following several acquisitions in 1999 and 2000 giving Azizollahoff almost 30 additional locations in Pere, the latter year saw Azizollahoff firmly positioned on the gaming industry map. In 2004 he established South American Gaming, a management company set up for the purpose of grouping and managing his multiple South American interests, which today include gaming operations in Ecuador, Guatemala and Colombia. Azizollahoff also owns gaming machines placed on a rental basis in Venezuela, Mexico, Argentina and Panama.

As well as his holdings and interests in casinos and gaming machines, Azizollahoff has also turned his hand to the design and development of products for the gaming industry, including systems for control of gaming and electronic roulettes. To this end, he co-founded Heal Technology together with a partner dedicated to the technological side of the business. Heal Technology has grown today to a group of companies specializing in technologies and products for the gaming industry, from the design stage, through development, manufacture and to sales. The company has production plants in Argentina, Peru and Colombia.

Following his drive to expand his gaming businesses to the international market, Alan Azizollahoff relocated to Miami in 2002 with his wife and family. With its headquarters in Miami, Alan Azizollahoff established the Jade Water Group Inc., a diversified holding company for his gaming operations in Central and South America. He is the majority shareholder of the company, serving also as its COO. The company’s diverse interests include casinos, of which it has approximately 50, manufacturing facilities in three locations, products that include electronic roulette, bingo and electronic craps, casino management systems that communicate via SAS, a serial communication protocol. The company also handles sales and distribution, representing a number of gaming machine manufacturers, and third party placement of slot machines.

Azizollahoff and his wife contribute to a number causes including the Tiferet Shlomo Orphan Home in Jerusalem, the Mount Sinai Medical Center Foundation, the Michael-Ann Russell Jewish Center; as well as and support several organizations.

When not working, Azizollahoff enjoys travel, time with his family and the arts.
